What FAITH stands for

In Malibongwe Xaba's article 'Is your WHY big enough' he challenged us to find out how big is our WHY, this got me thinking of an acronym for FAITH that world renowned author and speaker, Nick Vujicic came up with in his debut book titled “Life With Out Limits”. He describes FAITH as Full Assurance IThe Heart.

When you have Full Assurance IThe Heart, your mind becomes focused on possibilities and not limitations, you start focusing on solutions to your problems, in that way you are able to turn all the negatives around you into positives because you believe whole heartedly and that WHY that Malibongwe eluded to in his article becomes more intensified and your actions then automatically handle the HOW part of the equation.

The HOW part in Malibongwe’s journey was sorted out by a Blackberry Smartphone which he used to write his first book “All Things Are Possible”, the title says it all doesn’t it? He managed to do this because he had Full Assurance IThe Heart that he was going to live his dream and because of this strong FAITH, he was able to channel his mind to work with what he had and make the most of it.

Sometimes we limit ourselves because we are too focused on what we don’t have, Nick had no limbs and Malibongwe had no funds but they knew that they had a purpose and they were not about to let anything stop them, today they are both telling their story to the world and making a difference in many people’s lives because they believed in their dream so much that any instrument put before their eyes, was seen as a tool towards living that dream.

The lesson to be learned today is that, with Full Assurance IThe Heart (FAITH), All things are possible and there is no limit to how far you can go.
